About Us
Established in 1980, CAWaves are a unique softball organization that focuses on high academics and college softball recruiting. As one of the oldest organizations in travel ball, the Waves have a proven track record of obtaining exposure with coaches, playing on main fields in key tournaments, and accessing scholarships for their athletes. We are based in Simi Valley with student athletes from Ventura, Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

College Recruiting
With over 30 years experience, Coach Rob Ives and Coach Tim Carmody have successfully placed their players in DI, DII, DIII and NAIA schools all across the the United States. With a high team GPA, Waves players have played for schools such as Amherst, Claremont-McKenna, Tufts, and Fresno State, and have garnered interest from schools such as MIT, Harvard, Amherst, UCSD, and Bowdoin.

Coaches Rob and Tim are well-known and well-liked by college coaches, tournament organizers, and their peers. Whether your student-athlete's focus is an Ivy League, a small, liberal arts private school, or a highly-specialized college, they will help her get seen by the right person.
